First World Hotel is currently the largest hotel in the world with 6,11.8 rooms in Malaysia. A mega-hotel, mega-mall, tropical rain forest and theme park all in one, the First World Hotel is the largest of a six-hotel resort. There are more than 80 shops, 90 restaurants, a Cineplex, casino and a 50-room Karaoke bar, not to mention two theme parks (one indoor, one outdoor), which offer fun in the form of skydiving simulators and a mammoth snow park. The hotel sits atop a mountain and is accessible by the world's fastest cable car, which moves about 20 feet per second. This brightly hued three-star mega hostelry has thousands of rooms and facilities to match, from meeting rooms and a business center to a cineplex and casino. And for all its Olympian size—there are (count 'em) 32 check-in counters—it’s just one section of the First World Plaza, which includes an indoor theme park and 500,000 square feet of shopping. The First World Hotel is truly a world of its own, not only because of its mammoth size, but also because of its global decor, such as the tropical rain forest at the entrance and the lobby that’s decorated in the style of a traditional Spanish courtyard. The hotel washes 40 tons of laundry a day.
